This picture was taken place just behind the Blue Sky Motel towards Biglerville. My girlfriend and I stayed here for a few days touring the town. One morning, Erica took pictures in the fields behind the hotel where we had heard from the hotel owner that there had been strange activity.
If you look far left in the picture just where the two hills meet, you will see a personage walking towards some strange shadows in the trees. The person appears to be dressed as a Civil War soldier in uniform possibly holding a musket in his left hand.
Erica had verified that she was alone in the woods taking this shot. Later on we had inspected the area to verify that there were no tree stumps or monuments that could be the cause of this anomaly. In other shots of the same area, no other strange apparitions appeared.

This picture was taken a few weeks ago in front of Pennsylvania Hall on Gettysburg College campus. It was around 12:30 a.m. with no one else on campus. For those of you who have been here before know that the steps are chained off so there is no access to get on the porch.

The building was used as a hospital for both Union and Confederate troops during the Battle of Gettysburg.

If you look in between the front of the door between the two steps, it appears to be a man standing there. We did not see anything unusual while taking the photos that night, only the next day when we were going through all of them. We took a bunch of the building that night and this is the only picture with something in it.

We tried to "debunk" the photo with the possibility that it could be lights from the lobby, but inspection of the other photos prove this not to be the case. As you can see all the other windows visible are totally dark.

Welcome to Haunted Gettysburg!

Hi Everyone! Let me welcome you the the Haunted Gettysburg Blog! Let me tell you a little bit of why we started this blog.

My boyfriend and I have always been interested in Ghosts and haunted places and the like. We've seen other sites who post "real" ghosts pictures yet we've questioned, along with many of you I'm sure, the realness of said pictures. Annoyed at this, we set out to start taking our own pictures where we would know the pictures were real and not tampered with.

With our recent trip to Gettysburg, we got a few great pictures with possible paranormal activities in them. Here we will post these pictures and the stories behind them. Please, anyone else who feel they might have captured something at Gettysburg, please post yours as well! And don't be afraid to comment!
